Frischfleisch

A vicious game for 2 – 6 hungry players at age 18+ OUT OF PRINT!
Author: Friedemann Friese
Playing time: 90 minutes

Overview:
Each player represents a group of 6 persons, who are stranded in a wilderness. The sun is burning – the stomach hurts – food must be found. Before I die I better eat my neighbor (Darwin is smiling). Or is it really necessary that all of my group survive, if the rest really can live from that guy (Darwin laughs). And afterwards giving away body parts from the supply to avoid fights (Darwin jubilates). It sounds like the daily motto: Eat or die!

Idea of the game:
Each player tries to get his group of 6 persons alive through the wilderness. Only after 4 weeks (game rounds) the rescue team is coming. The main problem: there is not enough natural food for everybody to survive. The basic idea of the game: Before I die I better eat my neighbor. To survive you must both find enough food and do not loose the contact to opponents´groups to compensate possible food shortages..

Components:
6 sets of 7 player tokens, 6 sets of 6 paper player markers, 6 board tiles, 42 fighting chips, 84 X-tokens, 84 food tokens, 1 rules sheet.

Frischfleisch was published in 1999 at Spiel ´99 in Essen in a print run of 1200 copies. The game is out of print!
